Highlights
February 2007
- Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron decreased 8.3% in February 2007 to 1,253,472 metric tonnes.
- In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products declined 2.6% to 1,197,002 metric tonnes.
- Between January 2007 and February 2007, production of steel pipe and tubing declined 4.5% to 221,965 metric tonnes.
- Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products fell 4.9% to 42,295 metric tonnes in February 2007.
