Correction notice

Estimates for some themes have been corrected for the 2021 data and 2016 to 2021 data.

  • Some estimates have been corrected for the 2021 data at the Province, Census Agricultural Region, Census Division and Census Consolidated Subdivision geographic levels for the following themes: “Proportion of farms reporting having renewable energy producing systems for use on the operation in 2021”, “Proportion of farms reporting having renewable energy producing systems for sale in 2021”, ”Proportion of farms reporting the use of solar as a renewable energy producing system for the operation in 2021”, “Proportion of farms reporting the use of wind as a renewable energy producing system for the operation in 2021”, “Proportion of farms reporting the use of bioenergy as a renewable energy producing system for the operation in 2021”, “Proportion of farms reporting the use of geothermal electric power generator for the operation in 2021”.
  • Some estimates have been corrected for the 2016 to 2021 data at the Province, Census Agricultural Region, Census Division and Census Consolidated Subdivision geographic levels for the following themes: “Change in proportion of farms reporting the use of geothermal electric power generator for the operation from 2016 to 2021”, “Change in proportion of farms reporting the use of solar as a renewable energy producing system for the operation from 2016 to 2021”, “Change in proportion of farms reporting the use of wind as a renewable energy producing system for the operation from 2016 to 2021”.
  • Estimates for the 2021 data at the Census Division geographic level have been corrected for the following theme: “Average total value of land and buildings per farm in 2021”.
