In most Canadian households where all members know the same non-official language,Note 1 that language is spoken at home along with at least one other language.
Korean was spoken at home, alone (37%) or with at least one other languages (60%), in 98% of households where everyone knew the language.
Hindi was spoken at home, alone (4%) or with at least one other languages (65%), in 4% of households where everyone knew the language.
In 2021, English was spoken at home in over 80% of households where everyone knew Hindi, Tagalog, German, Urdu, Gujarati, Bengali or Tamil.
French was spoken at home in more than 30% of households where everyone knew Spanish, Arabic or Romanian.
