At least one risk factor was reported in over half of motorcycle fatalities, and at least two risk factors were reported in nearly one-third of motorcycle fatalities.Note 3

  • Alcohol, cannabis or other drug consumption was reported in nearly 1 in 3 (31%) motorcycle fatalities.
  • Losing control was reported in more than 1 in 4 (27%) motorcycle fatalities.
  • Driving at high speed was reported in nearly 1 in 4 (24%) motorcycle fatalities.
