In 2020, Montréal/Trudeau and Calgary International dropped out of the top 5 airports, while three airports with flight school activities (Boundary Bay, Abbotsford and Calgary Springbank) moved into the top 5.

Airports the least affected by the pandemic: The Terrace airport in British Columbia was the only airport where the number of movements remained stable in 2020, after it became an Air Canada hub for northwestern Canada. Oshawa (-4.0%) had the lowest decrease thanks to flight school activities.
