In 2016, there were 309,850 education workers in Quebec, with 202,145 who knew English and 295,430 who knew French.

Since 2011, the equal use of English and French at work has increased everywhere in Quebec. The percentage of education workers who predominantly use either English or French at work declined from 2011 to 2016.
