Among the new ZEVs registered in the third quarter of 2020, 67.1% were battery electric vehicles. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles represented 32.9% of new ZEVs registered in this period.

In the third quarter of 2020, 18,771 new zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) were registered in Canada. These ZEVs represented 3.7% of total new vehicles registered in the third quarter of 2020, compared with 3.3% in the second quarter of 2020 and 3.9% in the first quarter.

Among these new ZEV registrations, 92.9% were in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
