Family Matters: Under the same roof, living with my parents!
In 2017, 4.5 million people or 15% of Canadians aged 18 and over were living with a parent.Footnote 1
- Women: 14%
- Men: 16%
In general, men were slightly more likely than women to live with a parent.
Over the past 20 years, the proportion of adults who live with a parent has increased.
