Profile of Language Characteristics, for Census Metropolitan Areas and Census Agglomerations, 2001 Census - ARCHIVED

Using 2001 Census data, this dissemination profile provides a statistical overview of the linguistic variables for the following geographic levels: census metropolitan areas and census agglomerations.

It includes statistics on the following linguistic variables: mother tongue, knowledge of official languages, first official language spoken, language spoken most often at home, language spoken at home on a regular basis, the home languages, and various non-official languages spoken.
