This service provides custom tabulations from the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), Cycle 1.2: Mental Health and Well-being (2002). The major objectives of this cycle of CCHS are to provide national estimates of major mental disorders and problems, and to illuminate the issues associated with disabilities and the need and provision of health care. It is designed to produce reliable cross-sectional estimates at the national and provincial levels. Approximately 37,000 respondents aged 15 or older were interviewed in 2002 in the ten provinces. The survey population excludes Indian Reserves, full-time members of the Canadian Armed Forces, health care institutions, and some remote areas.
