Paid Employment, Self-employment and Gig Work in Administrative and Survey Data
Articles and reports: 11F0019M2023003Description: This study combines survey and administrative data to examine the correspondence between paid-employment and self-employment activities reported in each of these data sources by the same individuals. The study also looks at the role of self-employment as a supplemental income source for individuals whose self-declared main labour market activity is wage employment.
