Investment in non-residential for Canada increased 0.5% compared with June 2023. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 2.1%, Prince Edward Island was down 9.3%, Nova Scotia was up 4.9%, New Brunswick was down 3.7%, Quebec was down 1.8%, Ontario was down 0.2%, Manitoba was down 2.1%, Saskatchewan was up 9.3%, Alberta was up 3.6%, British Columbia was up 3.5%, Yukon was up 10.8%, the Northwest Territories was up 5.9%, Nunavut was down 0.7%.

Total investment for Canada was $5,928.1 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $30.3 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $19.6 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $79.7 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $67.8 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,293.4 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,516.3 million, total investment for Manitoba was $179.9 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $116.9 million, total investment for Alberta was $710.3 million, total investment for British Columbia was $886.0 million, total investment for Yukon was $16.2 million, total investment for the Northwest Territories was $8.4 million, total investment for Nunavut was $3.4 million.

Industrial: Market share was 20.3%, total investment totalled $1,205.7 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 17.9% or $182.6 million.

Institutional: Market share was 24.6%, total investment totalled $1,458.3 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 0.2% or $3.5 million.
