Investment in non-residential for Canada decreased 0.2% in June compared with May 2023. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 2.4%, Prince Edward Island was up 1.5%, Nova Scotia was up 5.7%, New Brunswick was up 3.2%, Quebec was down 3.1%, Ontario was up 0.9%, Manitoba was down 2.4%, Saskatchewan was up 0.0%, Alberta was up 2.2%, British Columbia was down 1.0%, Yukon was up 2.3%, Northwest Territories was up 2.7%, Nunavut was down 6.8%.

Total investment for Canada was $5,887.9 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $30.9 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $22.0 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $75.8 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $70.7 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,315.7 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,522.1 million, total investment for Manitoba was $184.2 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $106.5 million, total investment for Alberta was $683.9 million, total investment for British Columbia was $850.7 million, total investment for Yukon was $14.2 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $7.8 million, total investment for Nunavut was $3.4 million.

Institutional: Market share was 24.4% and total investment totalled $1,435.0 million, representing a year-over-year decline of 2.6% or $38.1 million.
