Investment in non-residential construction for Canada increased 1.8% compared with August 2021. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 1.4%, Prince Edward Island was down 5.0%, Nova Scotia was up 1.2%, New Brunswick was down 1.9%, Quebec was up 4.6%, Ontario was up 1.3%, Manitoba was up 1.8%, Saskatchewan was up 3.0%, Alberta was up 1.6%, British Columbia was down 0.2%, Yukon was down 4.6%, Northwest Territories was down 5.2%, Nunavut was up 29.3%.

Total investment for Canada was $4,761.9 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $39.3 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $23.7 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $49.7 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $56.8 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,058.2 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,011.9 million, total investment for Manitoba was $156.3 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $84.0 million, total investment for Alberta was $590.7 million, total investment for British Columbia was $671.7 million, total investment for Yukon was $8.7 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $3.3 million, total investment for Nunavut was $7.5 million.
