Investment in non-residential construction for Canada decreased 0.4% compared with May 2021. Newfoundland and Labrador was up 2.6%, Prince Edward Island was up 2.5%, Nova Scotia was down 2.6%, New Brunswick was up 3.2%, Quebec was down 0.2%, Ontario was down 1.0%, Manitoba was down 2.1%, Saskatchewan was up 0.7%, Alberta was up 1.2%, British Columbia was down 0.4%, Yukon was up 5.8%, Northwest Territories was down 4.4%, Nunavut was up 5.7%.

Total investment for Canada was $4,607.1 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $40.7 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $27.4 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $49.3 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $55.1 million, total investment for Quebec was $981.8 million, total investment for Ontario was $1,968.0 million, total investment for Manitoba was $149.3 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $75.5 million, total investment for Alberta was $560.9 million, total investment for British Columbia was $681.9 million, total investment for Yukon was $7.2 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $4.1 million, and total investment for Nunavut was 6.0 million.
