Investment in new housing construction for Canada decreased 2.2% compared to October 2018. Newfoundland and Labrador up 10.2%, Prince Edward Island up 37.8%, Nova Scotia down 2.6%, New Brunswick down 0.5%, Quebec down 2.9%, Ontario down 1.9%. Manitoba down 9.0%. Saskatchewan up 1.5%, Alberta down 15.6%, British Columbia up 4.3%, Yukon down 18.8%, Northwest Territories up 1.6%, Nunavut up 107.8%.

Apartments: Market share is 46.2%, total investment totalled $2,248.6 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 20.7% or $386.0 million.
