Lumber production by sawmills increased 2.9% from March to 4 762.1 thousand cubic metres in April. Compared with the same month in 2009, lumber production increased 29.1%.
Sawmills shipped 4 875.6 thousand cubic metres of lumber in April, up 11.2% from March.
