Data from the latest release of the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) Cycle 2.2 (2004): Nutrition, are now available. This release includes previously unreleased data on vitamin and mineral supplements.

The CCHS Cycle 2.2 provides national and provincial information about dietary intake, nutritional well-being and their key determinants. The survey collected information through a general health questionnaire and a 24 hour dietary recall.

As part of the general health questionnaire, respondents reported their supplement consumption over the past month, including the type of supplements that were consumed, as well as the amount and frequency of consumption.
