Table Corrections

  • Correction date: 2025-11-14
    • Corrections have been made to the estimates for several geographies. Data quality issues affected the filtering of transit stop locations into high- and low-capacity. These issues impacted the initial estimates for all distance-public transport carrying capacity service areas for the city of Toronto, the city of Vaughan, Toronto census metropolitan area (CMA), province of Ontario, and Canada for the two reference years, 2023 and 2024, and the city of Calgary, Calgary CMA, the province of Alberta - for the year 2023. For 2023, Stratford city bus stop locations were initially omitted from the transit stop collection, affecting estimates for the city of Stratford and Stratford census agglomeration. For 2024, an incorrect road network data vintage was used in the production of distance-capacity service areas. Using the correct vintage (year 2024) of road data resulted in changes to the estimates of access to public transport by distance throughout the table, improving them in many cases. Following these corrections, the symbols indicating not available or suppressed values have been updated throughout the table.
