Table Corrections

  • Correction date: 2022-02-10
    • On February 10, 2022, corrections were made to the crude and age-standardized mortality rates for years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 appearing in this table. Originally, the crude rates had published as age-standardized rates; and, the age-standardized rates as crude rates.
  • Correction date: 2022-11-23
    • On November 23, 2022, the numbers and rates for deaths attributed to Intentional self-poisoning by and exposure to chemicals and noxious substances [X60-X69] were corrected. Prior to that date, these statistics reflected only those deaths attributed to Intentional self-poisoning by and exposure to nonopioid analgesics, antipyretics and antirheumatics [X60] and excluded intentional self-poisonings by all other chemicals and noxious substances (codes X61 to X69).
