Changes to census subdivision codes, names, and types in numerical order, by province and territory

This bilingual table presents only changes that impact on the Standard Geographical Classification (SGC)^{Note 1} and therefore excludes annexations and boundary revisions. The changes are listed in SGC code order and the data are available for download for all of Canada.

Please note that no changes to census subdivision codes, names or types were processed during the time period covered by this Interim List for the following provinces and territories: Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Downloading the data

Statistics Canada has provided the data in two file formats:

• XLSX (Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet) that can be viewed with Microsoft Excel.
• TXT (tab-delimited ASCII files).
