Table 1 Changes to census subdivisions in alphabetical order by province and territory (with 8C and 9C)

Table 1 is a bilingual table. This table presents all types changes received to date, with 2006 population reported according to January 1, 2010 CSD limits. The changes are listed in alphabetical order by province/territory and the data are available for download for all of Canada as well as by province/territory.

Downloading the data

Statistics Canada has provided the data in three file formats:

  • CSV (Comma Separated Values) which allows you to access each table in any spreadsheet application.
  • XLS (Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet) that can be viewed with Microsoft Excel.
  • TXT (tab-delimited ASCII files).
