Note(s): With the exception of Quebec and British Columbia, preliminary estimates
for July 1, 2013 are produced using the component method. The
population estimates for both these provinces were created or based on the
population estimates provided by their respective agencies. As a result, the
sum of components does not equal the population growth for 2012/2013.
