Note: Among the Inuit population in the Qikiqtaaluk region excluding Iqaluit in 2016, 94% had Inuktut as a mother tongue and were speaking it the most often at home. On the other hand, less than 1% of Inuit in the region did not have Inuktut as a mother tongue and did not speak it at home.
