This is a line chart that illustrates the percentage of people living in owned dwellings from 1985 to 2006.

The Y axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of two from 62 to 80 percent.  

On the X axis from left to right are the years from 1985 to 2006.

The percentage of people living in owned dwellings increases from 70% in 1985 to 78% in 2006.

There is a footnote to the graph as follows. Note that all respondents in GSS 2002 were 45 years old or older, therefore the ownership levels are higher.
