This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the percentage of parents that reported a program or service that refused to provide care for their child with a disability, by child care type, 2006.

The Y axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 up to 30.

The X axis is comprised of five types of childcare arrangements that refused to provide child care. From left to right, the types of child care

  • arrangements are as follows:

  • Care in child's home

  • Nursery school

  • Before and after school

  • Care in other's home

  • Day care centre

The proportion of parents who reported having been refused care for their child with a disability in the child's home was 10.3%.

The proportion of parents who reported having been refused care for their child with a disability in nursery school was 14.1%.

The proportion of parents who reported having been refused care for their child with a disability in a before and after school program was 15.0%.

The proportion of parents who reported having been refused care for their child with a disability in another's home was 22.9%.

The proportion of parents who reported having been refused care for their child with a disability in a day care centre was 25.4%.
