This is a horizontal bar graph that illustrates the main child care arrangement for children with a disability, 2006.

The Y axis is comprised of four child care arrangements for children with a disability, arranged in order of frequency from top to bottom.

  • Care in child's home by non-relative, relative, brother or sister

  • Before and after school

  • Care in someone else's home by a relative

  • Daycare centre

The X axis is measured by percentages and increases from left to right by increments of five from 0 to 30.

The rate of parents who were using care in the child's home by a non-relative, relative, brother or sister was 26.1%.

The rate of parents who were using before and after school programs was 24.4%.

The rate of parents who were using care in someone else's home by a non-relative was 20.7%.

The rate of parents who were using a daycare centre was 13.1%.
