This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the employment rates by disability types for 2001 and 2006.

The Y axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 up to 70.

The X axis is comprised of the 10 activity limitations.

On the X axis from left to right, the limitations are:

Hearing
Seeing
Communication
Mobility
Agility
Pain
Learning
Memory
Developmental
Psychological

Each province is further subdivided into  persons with disabilities and persons without disabilities for 2001 and 2006.

For persons with hearing limitations the employment rate was 53.0% in 2001 and 57.8% in 2006.

For persons with seeing limitations the employment rate was 37.9% in 2001 and 43.2% in 2006.

For persons with communication limitations the employment rate was 29.3% in 2001 and 32.4% in 2006.

For persons with mobility limitations the employment rate was 43.4% in 2001 and 47.2% in 2006.

For persons with agility limitations the employment rate was 43.9% in 2001 and 46.9% in 2006.

For persons with pain limitations the employment rate was 50.1% in 2001 and 53.4% in 2006.

For persons with learning limitations the employment rate was 32.5% in 2001 and 41.8% in 2006.

For persons with memory limitations the employment rate was 27.0% in 2001 and 33.8% in 2006.

For persons with developmental limitations the employment rate was 26.1% in 2001 and 27.8% in 2006.

For persons with psychological limitations the employment rate was 33.8% in 2001 and 38.6% in 2006.

Note: Excludes Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
