This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the unemployment rates for persons with and without disabilities by age in 2001 and 2006.
The Y axis is measured by percentage and increases by increments of five from 0 to 25.
The X axis is divided into six age groups. From left to right the age groups are:
15 to 64
15 to 24
25 to 34
35 to 44
45 to 54
55 to 64
Each age group has four vertical bars that represent persons with disabilities in 2001, persons with disabilities in 2006, persons without disabilities in 2001 and persons without disabilities in 2006.
For those aged 15 to 64, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 13.2% and in 2006 was 10.4%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 7.4% in 2001 and 6.8% in 2006.
For those aged 15 to 24, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 20.7% and in 2006 was 18.3%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 13.3% in 2001 and 12.9% in 2006.
For those aged 25 to 34, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 15.7% and in 2006 was 9.6%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 7.1% in 2001 and 6.2%E in 2006.
For those aged 35 to 44, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 11.3% and in 2006 was 8.7%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 5.7% in 2001 and 4.7% in 2006.
For those aged 45 to 54, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 9.0% and in 2006 was 7.6%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 5.1% in 2001 and 4.4% in 2006.
For those aged 55 to 64, the unemployment rate for persons with disabilities in 2001 was 7.1% and in 2006 was 6.8%.
For persons without disabilities the unemployment rate was 5.3%E in 2001 and 5.4%E in 2006.
Note: Excludes Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
