were noted by police.
Refers to injuries that required no professional
medical treatment or only some first injury aid (e.g., bandage, ice).
Refers to injuries that required professional
medical attention at the scene or transportation to a medical facility.
Note(s):
Percentages may not add up to 100% due to rounding. Excludes incidents
where the sex and/or age of the victim was unknown. In 2009, data from
the Incident-based Uniform Crime Reporting Survey covered 99% of the
population of Canada.
