Note 1.

À compter du 1er avril 2015, la Nouvelle Écosse compte une autorité provinciale en matière de santé, et quatre zones de gestion, ces dernières constituant une agrégation des neuf anciennes autorités en matière de santé (« District Health Authorities »).
South Shore (1211), South West Nova (1212) et Annapolis Valley (1223) ont été fusionnés pour former la Zone 1 - Western (1201);
Colchester East Hants (1234), Cumberland (1235) et Pictou County (1246) ont été fusionnés pour former la Zone 2 - Northern (1202);
Guysborough Antigonish Strait (1247) et Cape Breton (1258) ont été fusionnés pour former la Zone 3 - Eastern (1203);
Capital (1269) forme la Zone 4 - Central (1204). Il y a eu aussi une légère modification touchant les aires de diffusion 12080119 et 12080120, qui seront désormais rattachées à la Zone 4 - Central.

Note 2.

Dans le cas de la plupart des sources de données, on ne dispose pas de données au niveau de la région socio-sanitaire pour certaines régions du Nord de la Saskatchewan dont la population est faible. Pour ne pas devoir supprimer de données, on a fusionné avec des régions voisines les régions pour lesquelles la petite taille de l'échantillon ou les petits nombres observés risquaient de nuire à la qualité des données. Ainsi : L'Athabasca Health Authority (4713), de la Saskatchewan, a été fusionnée avec la Mamawetan Churchill River Regional Health Authority (4711) et avec la Keewatin Yatthé Regional Health Authority (4712) pour former une région appelée « Mamawetan/Keewatin/Athabasca/ Regional Health Authorities (4714) »
