Health region level data tables from Statistics Canada now include their associated peer groups. These are groupings of health regions with similar socio-economic and demographic characteristics based on 2001 Census data. More information on peer groups can be found in the Health regions section.
Latest health region level data tables based on Census, Vital Statistics or the Labour Force Survey data have also been revised to recognize recent boundary changes within the Vancouver Island Health Authority in British Columbia.
The 2001 Census profile now includes income-based indicators. See Profiles section.
