1. Total Aboriginal identity includes the Aboriginal groups (First Nations people, Métis and Inuit), multiple Aboriginal responses and Aboriginal responses not included elsewhere. "First Nations people" reflects those who self-identified as "North American Indian" on the census.
2. Highest certificate, diploma or degree.
3. "Colleges, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma," which replaces the category "Other non-university certificate or diploma" used in previous censuses.
