How to use
How to use this interactive visual
Users can navigate between the Overview and Ratios tabs using the page navigation controls.
Overview tab
The Overview tab allows users to explore balance sheet and income statement components by selecting a reference date, industry, enterprise size, and financial component using the filters on the page.
- The pie chart displays the distribution across all enterprise sizes and updates based on the selected reference date, industry, and financial component.
- The line chart shows trends across all reference dates and updates based on the selected industry, enterprise size, and financial component.
- The column chart displays the top 10 industries and updates based on the selected reference date, enterprise size, and financial component.
Ratios tab
The Ratios tab allows users to analyze selected financial ratios and statistics by choosing a reference date, industry, enterprise size, and ratio or statistic using the page filters.
- The column chart displays values across all enterprise sizes and updates based on the selected reference date, industry, and financial ratio or statistic.
- The line chart shows trends across all reference dates and updates based on the selected enterprise size, industry, and financial ratio or statistic.
- The column chart displays the top 10 industries and updates based on the selected reference date, enterprise size, and financial ratio or statistic.
Keyboard shortcuts and screen reader tips
Keyboard shortcuts and screen reader tips are available by entering the visual and pressing Ctrl + Enter.
While in the visual, pressing Shift + ? will open the keyboard shortcuts.
When focus is on a visual, the data table can be displayed by pressing Alt + Shift + F11.
When in a chart and navigating betweem data points, display a tooltip by pressing CTRL + H.
