How to use
How to use this interactive visual
Use this interactive tool to view data from the Airport Activity release, beginning at reference year 2008. The dashboard contains information on passengers enplaned and deplaned and cargo loaded and unloaded; over time, by geography, by sector (domestic, transborder and other international) and at the top Canadian airports.
The dashboard contains two pages, one for passengers and one for cargo.
When filtering by year, there is a search function that allows users to type a specific year.
Selecting multiple years on the reference year slicer will allow users to compare data at the top airports on the clustered bar charts. Doing so will render the donut chart and map visual unavailable.
Clicking on the “Percentage of passengers enplaned and deplaned, by sector” and “Percentage of cargo loaded and unloaded, by sector” donut charts will highlight the selected sectors over time on the “Passengers enplaned and deplaned by sector” and “Cargo loaded and unloaded, by sector” charts, respectively.
With your cursor, hover over an element to see the corresponding data.
