This table displays the average usual hours and wages of employees by selected characteristics for Canada. The data in this table is unadjusted for seasonality. The row headers provide information for the selected characteristics by age and sex, union coverage, job permanency, and occupation for both the current month and the same month the previous year. The column headers provide information for three main categories: total employees, full-time employees, and part-time employees. The sub-categories are number of employees (in thousands), average weekly hours, as well as average weekly wages and average hourly wages (in current dollars).
