Table summary
This table displays seasonally adjusted data on the total number of dwelling units authorized by Canadian municipalities and the estimated value of building construction for Canada's census metropolitan area. The row headers provide information for the current and preceding reference month as well as cumulative totals for the current and preceding reference year for each of Canada's census metropolitan areas. The column headers provide information on the number of dwellings for single, multiples, total dwellings and the estimated value of building construction, in thousands of dollars, for the residential sector and the industrial, commercial as well as institutional and governmental non-residential sub-sectors followed by the non-residential sector and the two sector total.
