Consumer prices rose 1.8% in the 12 months to July, following
a 1.0% increase in June. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, consumer
prices rose 0.6% from June to July. Consumer prices were affected by
changes in consumption taxes in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and British Columbia.
