  1. Consumer prices fell 0.3% in the 12 months to June 2009, following a 0.1% increase in May. Excluding energy, the CPI rose 2.1% year-over-year in June. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3% from May to June.
