There were 571,002 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations in July 2012 compared with 564,180 movements in July 2011.

Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) increased 1.7% (+6,841 movements) in July 2012 from the same month in 2011. These airports reported 413,351 movements compared with 406,510 movements in July 2011.

There were 157,651 local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) in July 2012 compared with 157,670 movements in July 2011.
