  1. Aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations decreased 5.8% in April 2010 compared with April 2009. These airports reported 490,408 movements in April compared with 520,820 movements in April 2009.
  2. Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) decreased 2.5% (-8,820 movements) in April 2010 compared with the same month a year earlier.
  3. Local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) dropped by 12.8% (-21,592 movements) in April 2010 over the previous year.
