  1. Aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations decreased 11.4% in February 2010 compared with February 2009. These airports reported 371,909 movements in February compared with 419,853 movements in February 2009.
  2. Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) decreased 7.6% (-22,409 movements) in February 2010 compared with the same month a year earlier.
  3. Local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) fell by 20.3% (-25,535 movements) in February 2010 over the previous year.
