  1. Aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations increased by 2.1% in November compared with November 2008. These 93 airports reported 453,984 movements in November compared with 444,640 movements at 95 airports in November 2008.
  2. Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) increased 1.3% (+4,128 movements) in November 2009 compared with the same month a year earlier.
  3. Local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) increased by 3.9% (+5,216 movements) in November 2009 over the previous year.
