A profile of residential real estate investors in 2020

This article presents a detailed profile of residential real estate investors in the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia in 2020. It documents the demographic characteristics of investors, including age, sex, and immigration status. In addition, it looks at the geographic distribution of investors in certain provinces. The article is the second in a series produced by the Canadian Housing Statistics Program (CHSP) on residential real estate investors.
