February 2013

  1. Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron decreased 4.4% in February 2013 to 1,047,968 metric tonnes.
  2. In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products decreased 14.2% to 948,540 metric tonnes.
  3. Between January 2013 and February 2013, production of steel pipe and tubing decreased 5.4% to 175,642 metric tonnes.
  4. Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products increased 6.3% to 37,533 metric tonnes in February 2013.
