July 2012

  1. Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron increased 12.2% in July 2012 to 1,133,478 metric tonnes.
  2. In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products decreased 1.8% to 964,125 metric tonnes.
  3. Between June 2012 and July 2012, production of steel pipe and tubing decreased 16.9% to 180,730 metric tonnes.
  4. Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products decreased 15.9% to 33,252 metric tonnes in July 2012.
