June 2011

  1. Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron decreased 10.2% in June 2011 to 1,092,741 metric tonnes.
  2. In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products increased 2.6% to 1,055,173 metric tonnes.
  3. Between May 2011 and June 2011, production of steel pipe and tubing increased 14.0% to 200,971 metric tonnes.
  4. Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products increased 20.3% to 61,730 metric tonnes in June 2011.
