- Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron decreased 3.0% in May 2010 to 1,054,507 metric tonnes.
- In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products decreased 2.1 % to 1,012,139 metric tonnes.
- Between April 2010 and May 2010, production of steel pipe and tubing increased 5.1 % to 176,358 metric tonnes.
- Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products decreased 5.9% to 35,629 metric tonnes in May 2010.
