- Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron increased 12.6 % in March 2010 to 1,135,759 metric tonnes.
- In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products increased 21.7 % to 1,163,259 metric tonnes.
- Between February 2010 and March 2010, production of steel pipe and tubing increased 10.5 % to 181,543 metric tonnes.
- Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products increased 9.6% to 42,079 metric tonnes in March 2010.
