September 2009
- Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron increased 28.2 % in September 2009 to 939,822 metric tonnes.
- In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products increased 19.2 % to 853,176 metric tonnes.
- Between August 2009 and September 2009, production of steel pipe and tubing increased 15 % to 133,098 metric tonnes.
- Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products increased 6.6 % to 37,171 metric tonnes in September 2009.
